About Damp Surveys & Ventilation
Damp surveys involve a lot of detail. Record moisture readings, affected rooms, photos, recommendations, costs and sign-off in one place, then produce a report that is ready to send.
On a compatible iPhone or iPad, Apple's LiDAR room scan captures the room structure and creates an editable 2D floor plan. Move or rotate rooms, add doors and windows, mark wall sections and include the plan in the survey PDF. If scanning is not suitable, add a room manually from measured dimensions, including rectangular and L-shaped rooms, then edit it on the plan.
Complete damp-proofing certificates, ventilation certificates and survey reports on site. Add photos as you go, record your damp meter's make, model, serial number and calibration date, then capture the engineer's and customer's signatures on screen. Enter your company logo, accreditations, business details and terms once in Settings. They will appear on every report.
Need to show your client a report before the job is finished? Create a draft certificate with a DRAFT watermark, then issue the signed version when everything is agreed.
Records are stored locally, so the app works in basements, lofts and other places without a signal. Optional iCloud sync keeps records and company settings available across your Apple devices. You can also export and restore a full backup whenever you choose.
